I am far too plum tuckered out to light tails on fire tonight. Snow tubing and rafting and hiking up a mountain today! WOOO!

OMG, I finally managed to get past the first-part-of-the-year writing slump.

I really, really, really, really, really need to stop taking a full break on December. Habits are easier to break than to get, and it makes the first two months hectic. But! I've got this! A much more sane goal (500 words a day)... AND I doubled it for the first 5 days so now it's only about 400 words a day to finish on time! Which means I get a little free time and time to finish coloring the story cover. Whew! Writing is hard work! But I've got this bull by the horns. I think I've got this.

Also! I've been meaning to post pictures of my 3 darling cats. So here!

This cute little cat is the first cat I owned. Her name is Siberia and she turned 16 two days ago! She's a grumpy, unfriendly little thing with everyone except us. With us, she's a sweet, if nervous, purring furball.



This is our second cat, about 6 years old now (getting to 7), and he's pretty huge. Not just fat, but huge. He's a pretty easy-going cat and his name is Dante.


This last one is our lovely Shasta. She's just like two years old. She's super friendly but also just as energetic and naughty. She climbs everything, and knocks stuff down.

Thanks! And yeah, they're good at keeping us busy! Well... Siberia is mostly well-behaved. She used to be a handful back when she was a kitten, but after she became like four or so, she calmed down. She spends her day sleeping or asking for attention. Dante sleeps even more than Siberia does now, but also used to be quite the handful! He'd steal food and knock things like Christmas decorations down. And Shasta... well she's still super energetic. She has an obsession with knocking glasses down, so we have to make sure they're supervised or out of her reach. She runs and climbs everywhere (I've seen her on top of doors). She jumps at walls to make ninja-like wall jumps. She bounces at walls, too (like yeah just making like 5 consecutive quick jumps). And she also makes mad dashes all over the house, and tries to eat anything on the floor... including lint, dust and pieces of cardboard that she scratches off her scratching post.
